“ Great selection of great beers. Standard pub food, just o.k service. Good atmosphere ”
“ My family and I had a great dinner here. I got almost two beers in me (mine and most of my wife’s), the food was great for a pub, as was the service, and the music/atmosphere. The kids love mussels, didn’t know that before tonight. Always good to discover something fun like that that suits their palates. ”
“ Alexandra was our server and was amazing! We will be back. The best Pilsner in Oslo! Great restaurant and service. They treated our family like their family. If you are visiting Oslo, this is a must to try! ”
“ The staff were amazing. Very attentive without being overbearing. Friendly and professional. The in-house beers are delicious. I highly recommend the chili infused one. Has a kick, but pleasant, not too much. Perfectly balanced. ”
“ One of the coziest spots in Oslo. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a solid selection of food that goes way beyond typical pub fare. Whether you’re there for a casual beer or a full meal, it always delivers. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you’re into good music and a relaxed setting. It’s also in the middle of the city, which adds to value. You can do anything around the city, go to the national museum or walk around nationaltheatret and grab a quick one here . ”
“ Great beer options. Hazy IPA is highly recommended. We really enjoyed fish & chips and loaded fries too ”
“ Named after the street and the famous Norwegian explorer, Amundsen Brewery was a delightful find. My husband booked us a table for lunch indoors, and it was wonderfully cool — the perfect respite from the 30°C heat. I had the Skagen toast, which was refreshing and absolutely scrumptious. The eggs with fish roe were a creative addition. My husband opted for the fish and chips; the chips were perfectly crispy, and the fish melted in the mouth. The tartar sauce was smooth and flavorful. We waited about 25 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. The brewery's IPA was delicious. We paid about 800 nkr. We visited on 18 July 2025. ”
“ Amazing sours and food. Decided to get the fish and chips. Delicious. They really put the work in on their craft beers. The bartender has good recommendations based on what you are looking for ”
